Our Kickstarter Campaign Is Open!

It’s GO time!

We are going ALL OUT for the Kickstarter campaign for HERB & DOROTHY 50X50, with a goal to raise $55,000 in 60 days!  Sixty days, phew, that’s scary to say out loud!  Either way, the clock starts now.

Wait, what’s this Kickstarter, you ask?  Well, thanks for asking!  If you’re in a hurry, you can go straight here and still make it to your next meeting, or you can keep reading here on the blog while we run it down very quickly:  Kickstarter is the latest and greatest way for wonderful, generous folks like yourselves to help fund creative projects like, well, us.

Here’s the catch:  We must meet our goal of $55,000 in 60 days, or no money changes hands.  You won’t lose a single penny unless we all come together to surpass that crazy mark.

If many, many of you can offer even a dollar or two, we’re that much closer to bringing HERB & DOROTHY 50X50 to life!  (You can even receive credit in the film’s end credits or on our website, so people will know you helped.)  There are exclusive rewards for your enjoyment, including T-shirts and DVDs, of course, but also a sketchbook designed just for us by artist Lawrence Weiner, artwork by Charles Clough, and a one-of-a-kind cat sculpture by Kaylyn Gerenz.  Curious?  Check out what we’re talking about.

We believe deep in our hearts that HERB & DOROTHY 50X50 (see trailer here) needs to be made, and we hope you do too!

Thanks again for your incredible support.  Today is a big day and we are SO excited that you’re here with us, we can hardly contain our excitement.  This week sets the tone for the entire campaign, so please spread the word to everyone in your world!

Now, don’t let us waste any more of your time.  Go, go, head on over to our Kickstarter site!

P.S.  And thank you for your patience as we got everything (launch-wise) sorted out.
